Red wine Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Cru "Les Loups" is made from grapes Pinot Noir, harvested in the vineyard of the outstanding Premier Cru "Les Loups" and partly with a young 25-year-old vines in the Grand Cru vineyard "Clos des Lambrays". "Les Loups" in French means "wolves". Their image adorns the coat of arms of Domain de Lambre.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has red-cherry color.
Elegant aroma of the wine reveals notes of red berries and black currant syrup, notes of undergrowth and leather, light mineral and spicy hints.
The wine has a voluminous flavor with a well defined structure, well-integrated tannins and pleasant hints of licorice in a harmonious aftertaste.
The wine goes well with game birds with berry sauces, dishes with mushrooms, rabbit braised in wine.
