"Moulins de Citran" — second wine farms Chateau Citran, created from a blend of two grapes — Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines grow on sandy calcareous and clay-calcareous soils of the appellation O the Medoc. The harvest is done manually, berries are carefully sorted. The crop is harvested in October. The grapes undergo traditional vinification at a controlled temperature of 28-32 °C in temperature-controlled vats. Wine is aged in barriques for at least 12 months. Before bottling the wine "Moulin de Sitran" is wrapping egg white.
The wine has a deep ruby color.
The wine shows expressive aroma with notes of black currant, BlackBerry, cherry, spice, oak and spices.
The taste of the wine is soft, harmonious, with a velvety texture, fruity flavor, round tannins and a long, dry finish.
The wine perfectly reveal your taste paired with roast chicken, foie Gras, braised meat or lamb stew.
