Nik Weis, Saarfeilser GG — refined white wine is made from Riesling grapes grown in the vineyard "Saarfeilser". This vineyard is located on shale-gravel soils, the average age of the vines is 40 to 60 years. After the harvest, which is manual only to achieve optimum fruit maturity, the fruits undergo a traditional vinification at controlled temperature in oak barriques. Wine is aged in steel tanks.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has an attractive Golden straw color.
The refined aroma of the wine abounds with hints of white peach, apricot, acacia flowers, lilac and elderberry.
The taste of wine is soft, clean and refreshing, with elegant acidity and light mineral tones in an intriguing aftertaste.
Wine is served as a standalone drink or with fish and seafood, pasta with cream sauce.
