"Les Caprices d'antoine" Rouge, Cotes du Rhone AOP — red wine, created in honor of Antoine Ogier and dedicated to his rebellious and passionate character. In wine production the grape varieties Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Carignano grown on soils of Sandstone, red clay, limestone and quartz. The harvest is carried out upon reaching the optimum ripeness of the berries at the winery the fruit undergo a cold pre-maceration (for the Syrah), with subsequent fermentation and maceration at a controlled temperature of 27-28 °C for 25 days. The potential fault is 2-4 years.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is garnet in color.
The wine shows a complex aroma with notes of black berries, cherries, vanilla, cinnamon, cocoa and toasted spices.
The wine is rich, generous palate with fruit and spicy notes, rounded tannins and a long finish.
The wine is recommended to serve with meat dishes and cheese, barbecue grills, and barbecue.
