"Fratagranda" Riserva — juicy, full-bodied red wine is able to conquer from the first seconds. The production of the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet franc and Merlot grown in the vineyards, Lago di Cavedine at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level and Grumel di Lasino at 400 meters above sea level. Soil — silty-alluvial. After harvest, the berries are fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature followed by maceration at 28-30ºC for about three weeks. Wine is aged 24 months in barrels and then another 12 months in bottle in the cellars of the winery.
The wine is an attractive deep purple color.
The wine is complex, deep aroma with interwoven notes of ripe fruit, spice, herbs and cedar.
The wine is full, powerful, ripe palate with velvety tannins, perfectly balanced acidity and soft, rounded finish.
Wine is the perfect accompaniment to stews and grilled meats, roast lamb, lamb stew, red meat, grilled poultry, cheese.
