"Abadia" Rosado, Cabernet Sauvignon-Tempranillo — medium-dry Spanish rose wine from the winery Raimat. The wine is created from grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo, grown in the vast province of Lleida (Catalonia). Berry picking is done at night when the temperature is low, it allows to preserve the freshness of grapes before it arrives at the winery. To create this wine oenologists carry out two parallel processing berries. The first involves cooling the grapes to 10°C in stainless steel tanks for 12-18 hours and fermentation at 16 °C. This procedure gives the wine the brightness of the color, aroma and texture. The second process is the rapid pressing of fresh berries and their treatment is a very gentle way that preserves the natural fruitiness and freshness of the grapes. In the result, the generated components, born interesting, juicy, fresh and very aromatic wine.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is bright pale pink color with amber highlights.
The aroma of wine heard hints of strawberry and grapefruit, embellished by delicate interlacing threads of anise.
The taste reveals a pleasant acidity, which immediately gives a good amount of fruit bouquet. Notes of raspberry and strawberry give a pleasant sensation of sweetness in harmonious finish.
Wine is a wonderful accompaniment to dishes of sardines, tuna and salmon. It is served with quail and pheasant, pasta and vegetables, as well as a light dessert.
