Renato Ratti, Roero Arneis — a classic white wine from Piedmont made from the indigenous grape variety Arneis (which means "little rascal"), harvested in the hills of Roero, situated on the left Bank of the river Tanaro. The crop Matures in the second half of September. Alcoholic fermentation and aging of wine are made in stainless steel. This wine is good to drink young, its storage capacity is only 2-3 years.Renato Ratti bought his first vineyard for the production of Barollo in 1965, after returning to Piedmont from Brazil. He also bought a small vineyard in the area marchenasko La Morra in the lands of the former monastery. Since 1969, the management company joined nephew Massimo Martinelli, who is also the winemaker. Together with him, Ratti developed a technique of maturation and refinement barollo to get a more subtle, elegant wine with good potential for aging. This was an innovation in the field of winemaking. The period of fermentation and maceration, it was significantly reduced, and the duration of exposure of the wine he brought only two years.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is light, fresh, well-balanced flavor with good acidity and notes of bright fruit.
The wine will complement the wonderful taste of vegetables, pasta, risotto, shellfish, lake and river fish. It is also recommended to serve with chicken and dishes with sweet, spicy or buttery sauces.
