"Balciana" — a dry white wine made from Verdicchio grapes, grown on the vineyard in Contrada Balchiana in the Italian province of Marche. Wine produced every year, but only in the best harvest years. Tasting Characteristics

The wine is a beautiful straw-yellow color with a Golden hue.

The wine has a harmonious, solid and strong, well balanced, fresh taste with a hint of green Apple, almond and white flowers. Elegant aftertaste marked by a slight bitterness.
The wine is well enjoyed neat as a digestif. It goes well with roast goose or duck, foie Gras and pork. It is served with dishes of tuna and salmon, shellfish, dried or smoked fish, as well as Mature cheeses.
