"Takun" Chardonnay Reserva is a great wine with intense fruit and spicy aroma, fruity flavor with bright acidity. The wine is made from Merlot grapes grown on plots located in the Central Valley on clay-sandy soils interspersed with rocks and limestone. Harvesting is done manually. Fermentation at controlled temperatures and aging for a short time is carried out partly in steel tanks and partly in oak barrels.Winery Caliterra was founded in 1996 by American entrepreneur Robert Mondavi and the owner of the company "viña Errazuriz" — Eduardo Chadwick, with the aim to make a reality of their shared dream — to produce high quality wines that reflect the potential of the Chilean nature, terroir. In 1997, at the company's vineyards were first planted varieties: Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz. The wine has deep purple color.
