"Acustic" Blanc, Montsant DO

"Acustic" Blanc — dry white wine that is produced from a blend of 4 varieties: Garnacha, Macabeo, Garnacha Gris and Pansa Blanca. Collection and sorting of the harvest is done manually, after which the grapes are subjected to maceration on the skins for 2 weeks at a very low temperature. After a light pressing fermentation process takes place: 70% of the must is fermented for two months in stainless steel tanks, 30% of the must is fermented for four months in French oak barrels after which the wine is bottled.

Tasting Characteristics

Wine bright straw yellow color with Golden reflections.
The aroma of wine is dominated by notes of apples, pears and apricots, hints of tropical fruits and citrus and subtle touches of white flowers, Mediterranean herbs and fresh pastries.
The wine has a rich, full-bodied taste with hints of ripe fruit and oak nuances. Balanced acidity gives the flavor palette a live and warm sound. The finish is adorned with delicate floral notes.
The wine goes well with fish and seafood, cold cuts and poultry.
