Chateau Fonrazade, 2009 — a dry red Bordeaux wine with a rounded, dense, flexible and delicate taste, delicate aroma and pleasant aftertaste. The wine is made from a blend of Merlot grapes and Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the vineyards in the region of Saint-Emilion. The vineyards of Chateau occupies an area of 13 hectares, and the average age of the vines is 40 years. It is dominated by brown sandy soils, which are cultivated grape varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Chateau green Fonrazad practiced manual harvesting and subsequent sorting at the winery. Then the berries are fermented for a period of 2 to 4 weeks after which the wine is aged in oak barrels for 12-15 months, with 30% of them were new.
