"Liberta" — wine with an unusual for the Tuscan region varietal composition. While each class has a role to play in the perfectly balanced taste of wine, soft tannins Merlot complement the richness and spiciness of Syrah and the elegant fragrance of Sangiovese. These varieties are grown on a plot with South-West exposure, located South of Florence at an altitude of 180 meters above sea level and covers 11 hectares. Vineyard soil loam, interspersed with limestone and gravel. Harvested manually. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks and malolactic fermentation the wine was aged for 10 months partially in steel tanks and partly in oak barrels. The wine has a unique storage capacity in the next 10-15 years.Kollatstsi Fattori — the estate has an area of about 400 hectares, it is located in the municipality of Impruneta, which is seven kilometers from Florence. In 1933 it was owned by the brothers Carlo and bona Brand, which for many decades were mainly involved in the production of olive oil and wine was produced only for sale in bulk. In the early 90-ies of the last century, the family Brand handed over the vineyards and the process of wine production under the leadership of his relative on the maternal side — the Marquis Lamberto Frescobaldi and his companion, the famous Tuscan enologist Niccolo ' d'afflitto. Setting the ambitious goal of creating new brands of great wines, they conducted a thorough study of soils that are not very fertile, and, given the local climate, give priority to the local elite Sangiovese and planted new vines Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot. Serious reconstruction affected not only the 25 hectares of vineyards and cellars. All these changes have led to the fact that a few years in the wine map of Tuscany there is a new wine — "I Bastioni" and merit special attention wine "Collazzi", from the first vintage in 1999 as one of the "supertuscan" wines. Currently, alcoholic products kollatstsi Fattori, known for its high quality, firmly holds the top position not only in Italy but in the world.
