The wine is very complex with amazing berry and spicy aroma with a touch of smoky notes, while the palate is layered and perfectly balanced fruity character. They carefully chose a place for his future wineries in regions such as Oregon, California, Australia, and some parts of Europe, but really they were attracted to the region of Wairarapa in the southern part of New Zealand. After studying about 100 plots of land in New Zealand, the young men picked up two in the Wairarapa, which, in their opinion, was perfect for their favorite Pinot Noir and its clones. Both sites were purchased in 1998. The vines in the vineyards "Schubert" planted in the European style tight enough. A distinctive feature of the production is very limited amounts of grapes and therefore wine at its very high quality. Wine "Schubert" was repeatedly awarded various prizes. Best known wine "Schubert Pinot Noir and Schubert Cabernet Sauvignon", the last of which was twice recognized as the best new Zealand Cabernet.
