Tenuta Cantagallo, Chianti, 2009 — dry red wine that is produced from the famous Sangiovese grapes. It is harvested between the middle of October, at the time of full maturity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a strictly controlled temperature. Then the wine is placed in large barrels of French oak Allier and maintained for 4 months. Then the wine is bottled and aged for another 4 months.Manufacturer wine Tenuta Cantagallo, the winery, which belongs to the family peratstsuolli since 1970. It is located in the picturesque town of Montalbano. Today the estate is led by Enrico Parazzoli, which accounts for the founder's grandson. His inherent passion for winemaking, honoring ancient traditions and the love for their land — all eloquently expressed in his wines. Enrico — a good Manager, he completely revamped the facilities of the winery and restored the cellar.The vineyards cover about 3 hectares of land, much of which is given under local variety of the Sangiovese grape, is also grown Cabernet Sauvignon. All work is done on the principle — "a bottle of wine from the vine".
