The wine Tenuta Ulisse Unico Montepulciano D'abruzzo is made from the same grapes of Montepulciano D'abruzzo. The origin of the grapes was very doubtful. There have even been suggestions that this kind of Sangiovese, but then it became clear that there is nothing in common between these two varieties of grapes not. Grapes are grown mainly in Abruzzo and other areas of southern Italy. Today, thanks to the diligence of manufacturers, Montepulciano D'abruzzo has become very popular and is equivalent to the red grape varieties of the highest quality.
The wine is ruby red color with garnet hue.
Very stable bright aroma with hints of cherry, blackberries, ripe red fruits, which are complemented by elegant floral notes.
Very strong and quite dense wine with pronounced tannins and excellent balance.
The wine is excellent with seasoned cheese, grilled meat, seasoned with spices, entrees and dark chocolate.
