The wine "Unico" Montepulciano d'abruzzo is made from the same Montepulciano d'abruzzo grapes from the vines, whose age is about 20 years. The origin of this variety is very doubtful. There have been suggestions that this kind of Sangiovese, but then it became clear that there is nothing in common between these two varieties of grapes not. Grapes are grown mainly in Abruzzo and other areas of southern Italy. Today, thanks to the diligence of manufacturers, Montepulciano d'abruzzo has become very popular and is equivalent to the red grape varieties of the highest quality. Harvest for wine production are harvested by hand in early November. Maceration with gentle compression lasts 15-20 days, the fermentation is carried out at a temperature of 24-26°C in stainless steel tanks. Tasting Characteristics

The wine has deep ruby red color with purple hue.
Persistent and intense aroma of wine reveals seductive notes of dark ripe plums and red cherry, berry notes and hints of cocoa.
The taste of the wine is persistent, dense, attractive, with expressive hints of dark fruit and ripe berries, velvety tannins a persistent long aftertaste.
Wine is a great accompaniment to roasted and stewed red meats, cheeses, lasagna with meat sauce, mushrooms with thyme, chocolate.
