"Txomin Etxaniz" — a typical white wine of the Basque Country, with a slight fresh acidity, tiny bubbles of carbon dioxide and rich fruit bouquet. Wine made from the autochthonous varieties of grape ondarrabi beltsa and ondarrabi Suri grown TO Chakoli de Getaria. After pneumatic pressing in an inert gas atmosphere, the fermentation of the wine in neutral containers at controlled temperature, after which the wine is aged on the lees for several months.Txomin Etxaniz winery located in the heart of the Basque region of Getaria. Many generations of families etxaniz engaged in viticulture and winemaking. In the old archives, 1649 preserved records of Domingo de Etxaniz, growers of Getaria. Txomin etxaniz owns 35 hectares of vineyards located on the slopes. Here the farm produces two varieties of indigenous grapes: ondarrabi Suri (90%) and ondarrabi beltsa (10%). The winery produces three white wines — "Txomin etxaniz", "Eugene" and "Uydi" (Late Harvest). Harvested in late September and early October by hand in 20 kg boxes. After vinification, the wine is traditionally aged on the lees.
The wine has a pale straw color.
Fruity wine shows beautiful tones of green Apple, citrus and herbs.
The taste of wine is fresh, balanced, firm, slightly fizzy, crisp acidity.
Wine is an excellent aperitif and goes well with tapas, fish and seafood, anchovies, tuna in oil, shellfish and caviar.
