Friuliano — a gentle, elegant wine with a pleasant acidity and a fine, delicate flavor. Grapes for wine are grown on the slopes around the estate, which are predominantly South facing and marl soil. Harvested in late September. The berries are gently pressed with the use of a pneumatic press, then fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The wine is aged on the lees for eight months before bottling and another 2-3 months in bottle. Annually produces about 20 thousand bottles of "Friuliano".
The wine is greenish straw color with greenish reflections.
Thin, delicate, complex aroma of the wine reveals hints of white flowers, bitter notes of almond and yellow fruit.
Flexible, elegant wine with a round taste with bitter almond notes and moderate acidity.
The wine is ideal as an aperitif. Excellent with appetizers, soups, pasta and seafood, especially shellfish.
