Chapelle winery Peak, located in New Zealand (Marlborough) belongs to Domaine Laporte — the famous French manufacturer of the Sancerre region. Chapel Peak, the farm produces wines from different grape varieties, one of them is Sauvignon Blanc. Wines from this grape variety produced a wonderfully fragrant, filled with the thrilling notes of exotic fruits. Sauvignon Blanc is grown on the hills in the heart of Marlborough on clay soils. The vinification process consists of the traditional fermentation in neutral vats at controlled temperatures and short aging in neutral tanks. Wine storage capacity is 3-5 years.Marlborough is the major wine region of New Zealand. The status of the Marlborough region was only 24 years later, after it was planted the first vines in New Zealand. Well-balanced wine with supple texture and thin, intense, fresh palate with crunchy acidity, notes of ripe yellow fruit and hints of minerals. In a pleasant aftertaste present tone of lime zest.
The wine goes well with salmon, tuna, shellfish and other seafood. It is served with white meat poultry, duck with orange sauce, vegetarian dishes and goat cheeses.
