From Bourgogne, Hubert Lignier — quite elegant wine with a fruity aroma. The wine is made from Pinot Noir from two vineyards in Chambolle and Nuits and from grapes purchased from growers in Volnay. Harvested by hand in September. The grapes were desteblirovan and underwent a cold maceration for 5 days. The berries of each plot vinified separately. Fermentation with punching cap once or twice a day lasted about 20 days and took place in stainless steel tanks. Wine level "village" is aged in oak barrels, of which 20-25% were new at the time, as the proportion of new barrels for aging wine from the harvest of Grand CRU and premiers CRUs 50% and 33%, respectively. Term aging of wine is at least two years, and in some years reaches up to five years. At the peak of ripeness, the wine will be in the period from 2013 to 2020.
The wine is an attractive ruby color.
The wine shows an elegant, clean aroma with notes of ripe red fruits, spices and herbs.
The wine is round, generous flavors with notes of mulberry, undergrowth and liquorice, with beautifully balanced acidity and a long finish.
The wine is recommended to serve complex dishes of veal, lamb, duck grilled and seasoned cheeses.
