Interesting facts

Chardonnay white Vougeot Blanc the 1 er Cru Les Cras produced from grapes grown on the limestone soils of the appellation Vougeot Blanc 1er Cru Controlee. Berries are double sorted in the collection and before delivery to the pneumatic press. After removing the precipitate, the pure grape juice gets in oak barrels (25% new) for further alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Wine aging lasts from 12 to 15 months before bottling.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has a pale straw color.
The aroma of vintage felt a touch of honey and hints of dried fruits.
Millesime has a creamy mineral flavors, rounded tannins and good balance.
Wine is served with fish, seafood, soft cheeses.
