A terrific wine "Vignes Blanches", Pouilly-Fuisse is made from grapes from a tiny area, occupying only 0.16 hectares, on which grow vines aged about 112 years! The wine spent 11 months in oak barrels, 40% of which is new. It has tremendous latitude, and an impressive bright acidity with light mineral accents. "Vignes Blanche" has an excellent storage capacity and will to develop your taste over a period of 10 years.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has pale straw color with Golden tints.
In the aromatic composition of wine contains hints of butter, pineapple, toast, caramel, apricot, lemon meringue, honeysuckle, lime, ginger, which are replaced more vivid citrus tones.
Concentrated, rich fruity wine has a good balance of acidity and presents notes of citrus peel, apples, apricots and peaches. Pleasant, fresh mineral tones, and hints of baking and delicious nuances of ginger up a long pleasant finish.
The wine is recommended to serve with grilled fish, chicken, oysters, pasta with cream sauce, sole, flounder, halibut, lobster, crab and veal.
