Red wine Nuits-Saint-Georges Domaine des Perdrix is made from the grape variety Pinot Noir grown in the vineyards "Au Bas de Combe" and "Aux Barrières" in the appellation of Nuits-Saint-Georges. The grapes are harvested in small boxes, sorted and separated by ridges. Fermentation of grapes takes place in steel tanks at controlled temperature with regular dipping cap, but without the pump pumping the wort, fermentation lasts 15-20 days. The wine is then aged in oak barrels (30% new) for 15 months. Nuits-Saint-Georges has a good storage capacity — 5-8 years.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is dark garnet color with purple hues.
The aroma of the wine reveals notes of sweet spice (cloves), red fruit (strawberry, cherry).
The taste of the wine shows fruit tones, hints of white pepper, fresh tannins and lovely long finish.
The wine matches perfectly with dishes of mutton and lamb, meat stews and fresh goat cheese.
