The vineyards of Chateau kamensak located on rocky soils. It is mostly grown Cabernet Sauvignon (landing about 60% of the area), the rest of the land given over to Merlot. The main grapes for wine Chateau Camensac harvested by hand, the wine is fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. Maceration lasts 25 days, sometimes longer. Aging takes place in oak barriques, 70% of which is new, and takes 20 months. In the year produces about 20,000 boxes. Chateau Camensac — rich red wine that will enhance any meat meal.
The wine has dark-ruby color.
The aroma of the wine up tones of cedar, black currant liqueur, herbs, tobacco, violets and minerals.
The taste of the wine is well integrated tones of red and black currant, herbs, minerals and spices. The last two components dominate until the end of the aftertaste, which continue to be felt soft, but grippy tannins.
Wine is a great accompaniment to grilled lamb, beef with spicy sauce, firm aged cheeses.
