Wine Chateau Lynch-Bages — one of the great wines of Pauillac. Chateau Lynch Bages rated 5th class of the Grand CRU wines, but most of the leading wine experts agree that the class needs to be extended to 2nd. A combination of four grape varieties, led by Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine structure and finesse, elegance and longevity. A rich and noble wine of Chateau Lynch Bages, over time, gets better, gets complexity and a broad palette of flavors. The 2009 crop was grown under favorable weather conditions: the optimum amount of rainfall, lots of sun, the alternation of cool nights and warm days. Dry September allowed the grapes to reach perfect maturity. The result is a Mature, balanced, full-bodied wine. Vintage 2009 stands in one row with outstanding wines of 40 years.Chateau Lynch-Bages, has declared itself after it was headed by Jean-Charles Cazes (Jean-Charles Cazes) in 1934. Jean-Charles Cazes was not just a winemaker, he was an innovator, a new generation of winemakers who are ready to break tradition and take risks. Since 1945, Chateau Lynch-Bages has become even more famous thanks to a series of several very successful vintages. The wine has deep purple color with blue flashes.
The wine has a fabulous aroma with notes of BlackBerry, currant, blueberry, violet, chocolate and cedar.
Powerful and at the same time very sensual wine with concentrated fruit flavors, fine tannins, excellent structure and refreshing acidity.
The wine goes well with meat dishes, rice, eggs, vegetables and pastries.
