Wine Chateau Lynch-Bages — one of the great wines of Pauillac. A combination of four grape varieties, led by Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine structure and finesse, elegance and longevity. A rich and noble wine of Chateau Lynch Bages, over time, gets better, gets complexity and a broad palette of flavors.Chateau Lynch-Bages, has declared itself after it was headed by Jean-Charles Cazes in 1934. Jean-Charles Cazes was not just a winemaker, he was an innovator, a new generation of winemakers who are ready to break tradition and take risks. Since 1945, Chateau Lynch-Bages has become even more famous thanks to a series of several very successful vintages. Wine Chateau Lynch-Bages, have rich color, high concentration of tannins and have a graceful sensuality. Chateau Lynch Bages rated 5th class of the Grand CRU wines, but most of the leading wine experts agree that the class needs to be extended to 2nd. The average age of the vines is 35 years.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is deep ruby-purple color.
The aroma of wine is filled with beautiful floral notes, hints of fragrant cedar wood, blackberries, blueberries and crème de Cassis.
Taste the wine is round, juicy, well-focused and balanced, with notes of lemon and orange peel, flowers, spices, hints of red fruit and iron, with firm tannins. The finish is long and gentle.
The wine goes well with meat dishes and cheeses.
