Interesting facts

A wonderful wine Hasard Hill Shiraz is made from the best grapes grown in vineyards in the South-Western part of Western Australia, mainly in the regions of Geographe, Blackwood and great Southern. Fermentation is carried out in closed containers, the grapes from different plots are fermented separately. The wine is aged partly in stainless steel vats and partly in oak barrels. Hasard Hill Shiraz 2008 was bottled in April 2010. Additional ratings: the 2005 vintage has won 91 points from Tyson Stelzer and 84 points from Ray Jordan

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has a purple-black color with a garnet hue on the edges of the glass.
Wonderful aroma with notes of berries blueberries and blackberries, which complement the spicy notes of cinnamon, clove and white pepper.
Bright, full-bodied, fruity wine with excellent acidity and bright tannins and notes of bitter chocolate in the long aftertaste.
The wine goes well with meat dishes, pizza and pasta.
