Jean-Charles Cazes was not just a winemaker, he was an innovator, a new generation of winemakers who are ready to break tradition and take risks. Jean-Charles did a great job of saving the old castle and neglected vineyards, some of which at the time was used for growing potatoes.
The wine is bright and pure Golden color.
In an intense aroma of wine numerous fruity (with dominant notes of Apple, lemon and pear) are harmoniously combined with hints of spice.
Very nice, subtle, soft wine with medium body, fresh, fruity, well-balanced taste with bright acidity, notes of citrus, pastry, lemon curd and a long refreshing finish with mineral nuances and light notes of custard.
The wine is a great accompaniment to meat dishes, lean fish, seafood, white meat and poultry.
