Supertuscan wine "Camartina", first released in 1981, made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese, grown in biodynamic vineyards in Tuscany IGT at an altitude of 350-400 metres above sea level.2011 is characterized by optimum climatic conditions due to which ripe grapes have acquired the most positive characteristics. Manual harvesting was carried out from 28 August to 2 October. The grapes were harvested in boxes with a weight of 9 kg. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels Nevers and tronkays Allier, 50% of which is new. After bottling, the drink is matured for 6 months in the cellars of the winery. In 2011 it produced 10 thousand bottles.
The wine is dark red with a ruby-purple rim.
Sophisticated, bright, versatile aroma of the wine reveals juicy hints of ripe berries, harmoniously interwoven with pleasant notes of chocolate, orange peel and wild herbs.
Powerful, but at the same time very refined taste wine wins a silky texture, excellent balance and rounded tannins. Incredibly long and juicy finish is accompanied by hints of black berries, light nuances of leather, herbs and exotic spices.
The wine is recommended for meat dishes, blue and soft cheeses.
